The TSTS ry's membership register is maintained in the Yhdistysavain service. The TSTS ry's membership register can be accessed and members' personal data can be processed by the TSTS ry's board members.

4. Purpose of processing personal data
The TSTS ry membership register is used to modify the membership status of the TSTS ry, maintain contact, promote activities and for other purposes that are obligatory and necessary for the operation. The register stores information about the members of the TSTS ry.
The association activities carried out by TSTS ry require the processing of personal data. The processing of personal data is based on the customer relationship, other relevant connection and the consent given by the member. TSTS ry takes into account the customer's privacy and the protection of personal data and follows good data processing practices.
5. Information content
The following information is collected about the member: First and last name, city of study, year of starting studies, degree to be studied, email address ending in @edu.turkuamk.fi, and mobile phone number.
6. Information sources
Membership register information is collected from members on the membership form.
7. Disclosure of information
The information will not be disclosed to third parties.
8. Retention period of personal data
Personal data is retained for one year after membership is terminated. Membership is terminated after the member has graduated and completed other studies in accordance with the association's rules or when the member requests termination of membership.
9. Registry protection
The TSTS ry's member register is electronic in the Yhdistysavain service. Only TSTS ry's board members have access to the register. The login is protected by strong password protection. Yhdistysavain ensures the security of the website. A log entry of all actions taken is left in the register.
10. Right of inspection
A member in the member register has the right to inspect and correct his or her personal data in the register. The member also has the right to demand that the data be corrected or deleted. Requests for inspection, correction and deletion can be addressed to hallitus@tstsry.fi . The data controller must respond to the request within one month.
11. Other rights related to the processing of personal data
According to Section 30 of the Personal Data Act, the data subject has the right to prohibit the controller from processing data concerning him or her for direct advertising, distance selling and other direct marketing purposes, and
for market and opinion research. The request is made in writing to the controller at hallitus@tstsry.fi. The controller must respond to the request within one month. The data subject may change their consent to the processing of their data at any time.
